Venmore began as Venmore, Thomas & Jones dating back to 1849 when Thomas & Jones was founded.

The founding partners, Messrs Thomas and Jones, were archetypal estate estates - they managed rows of terraced houses which were let on weekly tenancies; they collected the rent; organised repairs; dealt with re-letting and acted, usually on behalf of others, though sometimes they were landlords themselves.

Venmore has continued to thrive and grow and now has branches in the key residential areas of the region.
